Wouldn't it be cool if we could just have Church in a park some where or at the Lake and Not have to pay anyone or for anything, and we just meet pray discous and maybe have some acustic music, and just see where to Lord takes us? Wouldn't it be cool to have a Church that no one worries about money or ask for hand outs and stuff? God doesn't need our money.....Just a thought.

Truth is the truth and it will set you free. In the end all knees will bow and confess Jesus is Lord of all. Doesn’t mean that everyone gets into heaven. Unless you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. Everyone will have to account for what they do, and who they hang out with.

My Thougths Above are many scriptures concerning forgiveness. While studying for this, I was stricken by the fact that all over the Old Testament scriptures for forgiveness there was all the rules and laws that had to be followed out to the note. However the New Testament delivers the way to forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Notes: I have found this to be a truth for when I was out off all my options, destroyed from a lifestyle of Drugs and dying. I called out to Jesus and he rescued me, and His yoke is easy. It is much easier to follow what is right, then to follow the is wrong in the long run. 13 years ago my life was forever changed by Jesus, as He took me in my life has been one reward after another. Marriage to a loving wife, cars, home, great job. I was in hell for 14 years of drugs and following my own desires. My prayer is simple and that is for God to use me and be in control of my life to twice of what I wasted. So if I am allowed by Him to reach out to others on His behave for another 15 yrs then I will be greatly rewarded. And the weary and weakness of my wasted years will be taken back in my mind at least.
It is a honor to read the Word of God and a blessing to me.

Notes:
I have read this over and over again, quoting whoever shale lose his life for my sake will find it. But I have found something new to think about. 34 Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I am pretty sure that I have seen all of this stuff happed while serving at Church. And in my own life, with other family members that are Christians but the Church itself is more important to them the relationship with Jesus the Christ. They follow blindly hiding there eyes to what the Bible says is wrong because there Church accepts it. To quote my Pastor “right now you can call me a Baptist, but the second being a Baptist takes me away from the truth of the Bible and way from a relationship with Christ then I will be something else because following Jesus and the truth are more important that any Church.

MAKE DISCIPLES

Okay most of us are familiar with this scripture verse but really if we are honest with ourselves how many of us are doing this? How many of us are living this kind of life. There is more to it than just going to church. More to it than just knowing the scriptures. More to it than preaching at church! I have been listening to the Holy Spirit and what Jesus is saying to us all right now and it is simple.
MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS!
Revelation 2:1
1"To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands: 2I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. 3You have persevered and have endured hardships for my name, and have not grown weary. 4Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. 5Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. 6But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. 7He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
Okay here is what I get out of this “You have forsaken your first love”. I can remember when I first really gave my life to Christ. Everyone I meant knew about it and knew what He did for me. I could not help but to talk about Jesus and who He is and how much He loves us. I was like a little kid in the candy store that was promised I could have anything I wanted. I was on cloud nine per say.
I think the Holy Spirit is telling us, that unless we get back to that first love status, and start really making disciples of all nations we are in big trouble. Especially as a country. Look at the miss USA pageant Ms Californian is being hammered just for stating that she believed marriage should be between and man and a women. What would have happened if she would have said anything about Jesus? What kind of Nation is this that we can no longer speak the Truth? What has happened is that we have fallen asleep.
Revelation 3:1

Lets wake up as a Nation as Christians and get back to just telling people about Jesus and stop worrying about what the world thinks. It does not edify the Church or God for us to set around and simply complain as our Nation our Christian Nation slips away because we can’t motivate ourselves to share our Lord with others.
Heavenly Father we hear you and we ask you to bless us with the right word to bring our nation into a discipleship with you. We ask you to hide us from the enemy as we share with others about you and to water the seeds and make them grow and for us to help you however you need us to. Form Man to women, from Son to sister, from Neighbor to co-worker, from shopper to door person. Allow us to share your Word of Truth to everyone we meet.

A prayer

Revival
Please pray for everyone that you know and everyone in general that was baptized as a child or adult that surrendered their lives to Christ. But for some reason or another have decided to slip away from Church and God. Pray for God/Jesus to put a revival in their hearts. Our country needs this and so do these people that have slipped away.

What do you need to be healed for?

What do you need to be healed for?
Many of us walk through each week taking on the world and really taking the world in. For instance TV, I am more and more convinced the modern day TV/Cable programs are killing our society. I believe we should take on the world by prayer, living the examples of Christ Jesus and loving others. If we spend more time watching TV programs than prayer and loving others than we will be taking in the world and all its crap that says everything is cool and acceptable, nothing is bad and all is good. Not true for us as Christians.
So my question for us is what do we need to be healed from every week? Any why do we need to attend Church weekly?
For me it is the TV/Cable programs I watch and could possibly slowly accept. Like the show called saving grace. Sounded like a cool name and has an angel that appears to the lady named grace. Sounds good right? Wong!!! Show is packed full of sexually immoral crap. I am taking this show off of my TiVo and refusing to watch it. And plan to contact the programming director complaining of the issues I have with this show. As Christians we should do more than just refuse to watch, “I believe.”
I am not going to throw out scriptures just simply ask you to examine yourselves and see what it is each week that boggles you down with worldly crap. Take a look at the things you do and ask you, “What do I need to be healed from?”
Take one thing each week and ask God to heal you from that. He will reward you for this I just know it. Paul requested us to do this before we take the elements of the body and blood of Christ examines yourselves and ask for forgiveness before you receive. I think this will improve our walk with God if we take the time to do this weekly instead of once a month.

I woke up this morning agree at a man that I had trusted that had failed me, lied to me and my family, stole from me, and damaged my home. I was angry that my own cousin had this man as a friend on her face book page. On my way to work I was praying and talking to God and suddenly this passage spoke to my heart. Instantly I began to speak out forgiving this person, although I am still agree, and will most likely never trust this person again. I can’t help but wonder if I have really forgiven him. I hope that I can. When I ask Jesus to forgive me of so much more than anything this guy did to me, Jesus did without beating me up and asking me to return anything.
This is a wakeup call! Please even though someone wronged you. Forgive them. For me nothing anyone else can do to me could compare to just how much God forgave me for. I heard so many say I forgive them but can’t forget, I think that if we don’t really let it go and forget about it, we very well possibly have not forgiven them from our heart. That is what is commanded of us. From our hearts not our minds, or just from our mouth. How can we love someone if we are constantly reminded of how they wronged us? Love and forgiveness go hand in hand.
Forgive, Forget, Trust & Love, these are the things that come with really forgiving from the heart.
Lord I forgive all, will forget all, will trust & love again.

Just a thought.
I attended a Church for about 12 years, my longest run ever in any Church. I rarely missed a Wednesday or Sunday service, at first loved it. I felt needed there mainly because I felt like there was so many things that we could be doing that we were not doing. In the end this was want got me. If you go into a Church thinking things need to change here or they need to do more. Then most likely you should run from that church is dead. I mean the more folks I seen give there lives to Christ each year there twice that many left that church hurt beaten and battered. I think that is because those leaders those that started that church was hurt by a prior church they attended and have passed those bad things down to this new community attending there. I have heard several ministers and other say that that pastor is hurting and needs to be restored before he hurts anyone else. The more control this pastor has the more lives he ruins.
The cool thing about it is that the church I attend now is nothing like the last and there is not one thing I'd like to change. Nothing I need more of, nothing that i feel is missing. I am being feed well, I am receiving blessings from God and I am able to worship in spirit and truth. There is no one being disruptive during church, no screaming kids, no cell phone going off during service, everyone is respectful, no one comes in late every time they come, no security is needed, no schedules missed, no stress because the other deacons aren't there again, the deacons have always been there at my new church every time I walk in the door I see them first, everyone Carry's a bible here, bible studies are going on before church, and still the pastor teaches as long the the old church did.
Just remember chances are if you feel that the church you have been attending is missing something, hear that the church was formed from some split in another church. Chances are you could be in big trouble. The split off church's will always be talking about those others and how they worship. I have not heard one thing from my new pastor dogging on other church's and how they worship not once. Its all about God, Jesus & His Holy Spirit.

We are in this together

Mark 2:1-5
1A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home. 2So many gathered that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them. 3Some men came, bringing to him a paralytic, carried by four of them. 4Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on. 5When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."
Looking at this scripture, my pastor spoke this morning about how we are all in this togther. Jesus saw the faith not just in the man that needed healing but in those that did what ever it took to get this person to where he needed to be to get healed. All men should take hold of this scripture and realize that it is sometimes a combined effort of all to get things done. My old churh was not like this for me and my family. We needed to be healed and needed men on faith to help us get to the place that Jesus would take care of us and they choose to let us get pulled into a huge mud pit. I could visulize the tug of war with the emeny and my old church on one side of the line and me by myself on the other end. Just about the time I was gaining streght to hold my own, my old pastor grabed the line on the other side with the enemy and the church I thought to be my freinds and they all pulled me over then edge into a mud pit and walked away.
Please don't let this happen to you. If you find yourself in this place, leave before they pull you over the edge. I am very happy and in a great church with an awesome pastor that teachs about Gods love.

God has been so good to me lately I thought I'd share one of his blessings. I have finally after 8 years been promoted to Network Engineer. Nice raise and all the benefits. Means a lot more studying and more time at work but God has really been blessing me. He has reminding me that He still loves and cares for me. Its been a whole year now since we left our old Church and still have not had one of the 12 years of relationships I thought to have had produce anything at our home. Meaning not one of them even my own cousin has come by or called to check on me. Confirmation that God pulled me out of a very bad place.

We (I) should encourage others
Alright first of all if we are encouraging others than when will we have time to get into our own rut? Hopefully never! And everyone can use some encouragement every day so this should keep you busy. My new saying not matter how the day goes is “upbeat and positive”. I stole this for a movie, how to lose a guy in 50 days. In a meeting with the editor for a magazine one of the lady’s would tell her story about what she was going to write about and say at the and it’s “upbeat and positive”.Somewhere at the start of every letter that Paul wrote he would say something very encouraging to everyone.
Philemon 1 1-61Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon our dear friend and fellow worker, 2to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow soldier and to the church that meets in your home: 3Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 4I always thank my God as I remember you in my prayers, 5because I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints. 6I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. 7Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.
Verse 3 looks very familiar he always says things like Grace and peace to you from God. And in 4 I always thank my God as I remember you! How much more encouraging can anyone be to say that eveytime I think of you I say to God Thank you for Fred. Awesome stuff, how many times could we change our attitudes about someone if when we think of someone, instead of starting to judge or criticize them, we pray and thank God for them and for God to pour out his blessing on them? Doesn’t this really love someone? If you are having a hard time forgiving someone wouldn’t it be nice to just start out your day praying and thanking God for them and asking God to bless them today, wouldn’t that be forgiving and loving them or you could call it loving your enemy today?
Awesome stuff! God can bless us each and every day when we start and finish every day with a positive note.
Paul ends the book of Philemon with the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
So let’s be upbeat and positive and start each day with a heart of thanksgiving and a prayer for everyone you think of and doing the same at the ending each day.

A lie is a lie

If you know someone that thinks it is okay to change the truth for any reason they are very wrong. Why because if they instruct you to tell others that this is what happened and it did not then they bring you into sin, and you will not even be aware of that sin. But let me tell you something it does come back to you. You will find out about these things but not despair because God will restore you. Just hand the persons over to the Lord forgive them. If I was to tell you that someone left the group because his sister did not like the group. When I knew that he was in complete disagreement with me in the way I ran the group, and I told all of my leaders to tell all of you that someone left because of his sister, then I lie and my leaders lie to the rest of the group. I have been ministered to by the Holy Spirit of God that this happened to me. I was a part of a leadership group that was instructed to lie. And LIE IS A LIE. Does it really protect someone? Does it really help you in the end? If you sin, and cause others to stubble then what does God say about those things? Forgiving is easy but is very hard to forget when you trusted in someone that caused you to sin and trust others that cause you to sin. So remember next time someone tells you something as easy as I'm not here when the phone rings, don't lie for them. Bible says to avoid quarrels and stupid arguments, but is does not say that we should do this by ling to others.

Why would you think that way?

Over and over again I have heard Christians say and show signs that they think that God would want something bad to happen to them.
May God is Holy, wants to bless me with His love, grace & mercy. To heal me when I’m sick, to provide Miracles when I’m broke and cannot pay my bills. My Bible says that His plan is to give me a hope and a future. Does that sound like someone that wants you to be ripped off, broke & poor? Does that sound like someone that would allow someone to tell you that God said for me to help you then that person steal from you and lie to you? NO not my God!
Bible says if you come to the altar of God and remember that you have sinned against a brother or even have any controversies to that brother not to let the sun go down on you before you ask for his forgiveness. Then return to the altar of God.
So if these folks have not asked for your forgiveness even if they think you are wrong and you are not, then they are going against God’s will. Sound like a God that wants you to go through trouble. Jesus warned us against trouble. Not because God will be giving trouble to you, but because He knew mans hearts and that they may start out serving God, but end up serving themselves and getting a new car out of the deal rather than blessing his brother, they bless themselves and walk away from God’s will.
Why should we ask someone for forgiveness? The Bible also warns us that if we cause our brothers to stubble then we sin. This is a very forward warning to believers, yet many chose not to follow these teachings. They just say things like, will he is sick, or he is a liar or he has issues. What does God see?
Long story short, if you are depressed, or poor, or struggling with a drug problem, or having a hard time forgiving someone that has wronged you. Please do not think that will God let this happen to me so He must be punishing me. NO WAY. Jesus does not want these things in your life. The enemy comes to steal kill and destroy, and he is a liar and thief. The devil will steal your Joy, you finance’s, make you addicted, cause you to be unforgiving and us anyone to cause these things to happen to you even Pastors of a Church. Rebuke the enemy for the liar and thief that he is. Walk in the light of God, Command the enemy to leave you alone.
If you want the scripture verse’s for me to prove this to you let me know. However I encourage you to find them and prove me right. Remember is the Holy Spirit is in your life He will confirm these things in your heart.

Lord God I forgive all as you forgive me, Lord please heal the sick, bless the poor, refresh and renew all with your Joy, peace and love that only comes from the throne room of heaven.

The World or the Truth

I have been visiting several Church’s lately, it is very interesting to see how other folks worship and see what they believe in. It’s funny we find a Church and then find out what they really believe in and spend a lot of time asking God, what’s going on with these churches today? I just don’t understand if God didn’t say to do it then why are we doing these things? I’m not going to point them out doesn’t matter what matters the most is if you know the scriptures and what is important to God enough to tell when someone is doing something scripturally incorrect. If God said only Men with the name Fred could be the head of the household and could only teach in the church’s and that Women should submit to Fred, but if your husband’s name is anything else then submit to God. Then I’d understand if there wasn’t enough Guys named Fred to teach and a church why women would teach there. But that is not the case with the scriptures. Or if the Bible said if your name is Fred then you should not even speak in church, then walk in a church and they said pastor Fred is teaching today “I’d say what is going on”? So I really and having some fun trying to understand some things.
World or Truth.

I am having so much fun meeting new folks and worshiping with them and I just know God is moving us in the right direction.

Life without a Church will 4 walls

Life without a Church home has been pretty good for us. We are still serving God just the same, still being fed, still loving God. We are listening to teachings on line and fine with that. God is still blessing us. We are still apart of the body of Christ and still loving every mintute of ever day that God gives us. Still fell God wants me to join a Church that has 4 walls but this will take some time to find the one God wants us to be in, obvoiusly He does not want us to be involved in a church that is anything like our old church, we what to be with folks that Like Church. Folks that come to church for it to be Church and to worship God and not make escusses to not love others asn God love us. How are we to follow the teachings in the scripture if you attend a church that doesn't do things that God obvoiusly set up in the churchs to do like, visit folks in prison, like visit the sick, and visit folks at there homes when they are down? Cause the bible tells us to treat our wifes as we do the church, well if we say we don't like church, what's going to happen to our marrage? Anyway can't wait to find the Church that love God and loves to worship Him in spirit and truth.

Feed the Homeless

Please pray for us we have joined with a group to Feed the homeless in downtown Dallas that goes every Saturday and sometimes on Thursday nights. Tomorrow I will get to preach to the homeless, truly a confirmation that I am following God's blessing, and doing just what He commands of me. Becarefull not to get caught up in the hussle of Church's sometimes you can end up doing what a pastor or preist wants you to do, instead of doing just what God wants you to do.. God Bless

Sheep pen or lost sheep

I have been convicted by the Holy Spirit to right this. Jesus said the kingdom of heaven is like this, if a sheep is lost he will leave the flock to go after that lost sheep. It doesn't say that he is more concerned with the sheep pen then the sheep. I recently have been visiting many church's and spoke with them and not one of them have told me that they are more concerned with their building or what is in it, over one person that leaves the church. In fact some of the churches that I have spoken to have groups of people that pray for those that have left the church, and make home visits to those folks with the pastor and assistant pastor to check on them. They don't make excuses about the sheep pin, as if all the others sheep’s are going to leave if they find out why that sheep went over the pin. Or make up things that aren't true about the sheep that is missing, to protect the other sheep. Jesus says heaven is more concerned about that one sheep then the whole flock. I heard a teaching on the radio where a pastor and his assistance went to this guy’s home that they had been praying for that they have not seen at church in 3 years. That is an awesome message to me. I recently left a church that was exactly the opposite from that. I have talked to others that left the church and they had a much different story then the pastor said to his leadership (deacons and elders) as to why they left. My question is why this one church would remove themselves from the truth in scripture. My prayer is this, Lord bring them to a heart of repentance, Lord heal the hurts of this pastor so that he can follow the acts of this teaching from your Son Jesus Christ so that they will be more concerned with the one gone astray then the whole church. Lord forgives them as you have forgiven me. Remind them that when a person leave's the church that is not closer, bring them back to the flock is closer, because they may never heal because of something’s that might have happened at that Church and may never return to a Church agian.

My Wife

If I could get my wife something this Valentine’s Day, I believe I’d what her to understand that most of all I love her. I think that most men fall into the trap early on in their marriage that our wife’s are our new project in life and that we need to spend the rest of our lives fixing them as if they are broken.
At least with me that am not the case, I love my wife she is a warm, beautiful, loving and caring women. She is not broken, she does not need repair and I love her. Most men fall into another trap that seems to think that in most arguments or comments made to each other one of has to win. The only thing we need to do is have our comments and thoughts heard and not try to win.
I love my wife very much and I just want her to feel loved and protected and cared for till death does us part. As long as we both keep our eyes focused on Jesus we can’t lose, we can’t be broken and there is an overwhelming love and peace that comes from Jesus. And as long as we both hold onto that we have everything we ever need.

Saturday I went downtown Dallas to feed the homeless and I haven't been in a few months and it was my first time for the year. I got out of the car and before I could take a few steps they where calling meout saying Pastor Monty come talk to us. It was awesome I prayed for 2 guys and and lead them to the Lord. One of them was a heron addict so was his son, I spent a good amount of time praying with Jerry see this man with nothing, so eager to know the Lord was so great. I am now apart of the Fishers of men group that goes downtown every week and soon twice a week. It is so apearnt that this is what God has called me to do. This is not assocciated with any Church so, no Pastor can say that I can no longer attend. It was said to see the look on the homeless guys faces when they ask me way aren;t you coming with the group you us too? I said I no konger go to church there. They looked at me so sadly and said why would they lye to us and say that he is sick? I don't know why they woudl say anything except the truth, and the truth is I don't go there I never told my Pastor I was too sick to run that ministry, He told me I could no longer run it because I felt bad. Will that is a part of the past and I feel great now now blood pressure problems and So much in love with God his word and reall enjoying going to churchs with Folks that Love Church, this is a true blessing from God...

What Happened to this Country

My Father and Mother in law was in a horiffic car accident in october of 2007 they was rearended by another car on the highway. Mom is out of the hospital but has several Doctor apointments every week. Dad is still in the hospital, is recovering but very slow, has few steps forward then a few steps back. Well I have learned this week that our Governement/ medacare insurance is treating to put Dad in a nursing home because they aren't happy with his slow recovery meaning he will no longer get the phyiscal theropy he desporatly needs. But they also have recently told my mom that they will be taking the house they have from them, leaving my mom without any place to live except with one of her kids. They told her she could have some clothes and one car and they wanted everything else. What happened to this country how can they take someone's house from them like that? How can America call that insurance I'd call it the mob or mofia!

Back on track and feeling great. My blood pressure is back to normal without medication that's to Jesus Christ. I have been healed and feel completely restored, everything is in God's peace and glory. I am heading downtown to feed the homeless and back on track with being thankful for everything that God has given me. The Lord has blessed me in so many ways this month, He is awesome and I give Him all the praise and worship Him alone. He reminded me about some things that He had shared with me at the first. When I first gave my life to Him, and put me back on track, so that I can give God all the thanks and praise a glory and honor goes out to Him.
I have a lot of great new idea's about caring for the homeless and others in need, I can't wait to put them into practice all for the good and honor of my Lord Jesus Christ.
My prayers are for this country to develop a system that will eliminate poverty and homelessness. I pray that the folks that need a meal receive it and those that need Jesus find Him and receive His peace a grace and mercy.

Defining the True Path

Remember your first Love.
What does this mean? I have heard a few Pastors mention this, and often wondered just what is meant by this? What does the Bible mean when I speaks of this? There are several versions of what this means. Some say that is the exact moment to which you truly surrender your life to Christ, and everything is awesome, and you can't wait to tell everyone and anyone what God did for you, what God shared with you.
I believe it is remembering just what God did for you on that day and the everlasting peace He gave you, with the promise of eternal life. Hold on to this, don't ever forget that first love. Some would try to tell you it is remembering what you did at that time, how you couldn't wait to do anything for God. I don't think that is the love God speaks of because those people telling you that could get you into a works related relationship with God and the Church. You don't want that, because there is nothing you or me can do to get us into heaven or a Friend it is God's relationship with you that gets you into heaven, excepting Jesus as your Lord and saviour that's it. The True path is a person relationship with Jesus Christ God. If you have that then you have everything you need.

Looking for a Church

Looking for a place that when they see something happening that in the world most folks would say oh he is toast, or wow wonder what they did to deserve that?

Ending of 2007

As this year comes to a end I am so glad. I am so looking forward to the new journey that God has laid out for me. As for 2007 I believe it will go on record as my worst year ever. Even through all the years that I used drugs over dosed and all the crap involved with that does not come close to this 2007 year. I glad it is gone and looking forward to a new year and the fresh breath of Gospel air that only can come from God. I think it is amassing to me that my wife can not attend a Catholic Church service in years and can join some other church, but make the descion on her own and between God to go back to the Church and never have to ask any Priest and Pastor if it's okay if she returns. To me that speaks deep to my soul that one is right and one is a cult like organization and not even close to the Grace of God. I'm gratefull to have a family that Love's me, an awesome wife, and most important a God that Love's me. I could say a whole bunch of things that would not edify Christ so I'm just going to say 2008 could not get here fast enough. The guy that was working on our bathroom that took all the money he could get from us lied to us about waiting on a kit from kohler, I called them and they said there is no such thing and that he ruined any kind of warranty that you had on that tub, so now I have to hire another lawyer to go after him. Hopefully he will allow us to settle this outside of court as God command Christians to do. If he forces me to sue him then that will be confirmation to me that I was right about a whole lot of things...... I have a bunch of doctors appointments next week because I'm off work so I'll see you in the new year.

I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4You know the way to the place where I am going." 5Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you are going, so how can we know the way?"
6Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

Isn’t this enough? It most certainly is for me, Jesus not only here tells us He is the way, He also tells us that He is God the Father also, when Philip says show us the Father, Jesus says Don’t you know me?
How hard is it to know the truth, God loves us especially me because He laid it down on paper and made it so simple that even I can understand.
This is something else that is so cool, most of the time when talking to His disciples Jesus speaks to them as a teacher and friend, but look at this and tell me where you see that He is speaking to them as God the Father;
John 13: 31When he was gone, Jesus said, "Now is the Son of Man glorified and God is glorified in him. 32If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once.
33"My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come.
34"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
In Verse 33 he starts out with My children, awesome stuff. Just wanted to share this, as a part of my daily bible study. Just a note I urge you to know the bible take it to heart. I have set at Church and heard things taught that not only denied the truth in scriptures but I felt denied Jesus too. It is so weird with all the Christian churches all over this nation to set in one, and have them read something from the bible and say this is just a story and not the truth is so strange. I have learned recently with today’s media (internet and TV) that I can learn so much more if I focus, rather than attending any one church. I have listened on the internet from one side of the US to the other in one day and also on the radio. I recently found a new station that is so awesome, the teachings are great. And as long as folks work today you have plenty of time to fellowship with folks that are and are not Christians giving you a chance to witness to those that are not, and fellowship with those who are Christians. God has showed me so much how much he loves me lately, when one thing simply did not do what it was supposed to, the other did. Just open you eyes and look around you and you can see how much God loves us and how much He cares for us. He will push you out of the way of a speeding train wreck and save your life. Even if you did not see the train coming because you loved that path you were going. So rejoice in the Lord in all things good or bad because He does love you and me.

Elisabeth & I went to see her folks today in the hospital, Dad was very emotional, all apart of the brain injury, it was very hard to see him, he wants to go home so badly. Mom was emotional too, she is hoping to get out Monday, but cried when we spoke about dad. Seeing them makes you realize life is too short to not forgive. Life is to short not to love those folks in your life, and in your past. I have made comments in my past blogs that have hurt others and I hope they can forgive me. I forgive them, and love them very much! My heart will always think of them were ever I am at. I'm human and make mistake's but God's love is perfect. All this happened for a reason. It has, and is very painful for me. I have no pride, no selflessness, nothing left but love for Jesus Christ my Rock my saviour, and my friends. I know that He is healing me every day. Like my father in law, I want to be healed now, I'm tiered of hurting and ready to start feeling good again. Please don't stop praying for us because we will never stop praying for all of you. Just going through the motions and saying I forgive everyone as Lord you forgive me, is one thing, and forgiving from the heart is another. I believe that is were I am now, forgiving from the heart and moving on with my life as a friend said in a email today. God's plan is perfect and I want to be apart of that perfect plan, I want to be on his side, not Him on mine. I may never see the man that said that to me again, but I will never stop praying and loving that guy. I wish he was perfect, but then he would be God right. If you ask this guy about me he'd say he does this about every 3 years or so. Hopefully I've learned my lesson on forgiveness, cause I don't want to be sick any more, I want to be better. I know we will all have eternity to love each other and God will be there to wipe away ever tear from each of our eye's.

Book of John Chapter 13
Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love.
This is so Awesome Jesus showed the one's He loved of this world the full effect of His love,He washed their feet.
In verse 34 Jesus give's us new command:
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
Love on another, on this thanksgiving and Christmas holiday coming up. I realise how important this is for us. No matter how many things happen to me, I still wish to learn to love as Jesus love's me. I pray for that for each and every one of us to be able to Love one another. Jesus did something for each of these folks to show them His love for them. Let's go out and do something to show others how much we love them. No email or blog, let do something to show that person how much we love them.

Visited with Elisabeths dad for an hour, and her mom about the same today. Both are still in a lot of pain, Mom had to have a permant IV installed today say's it is very painful. Dad want's out of the hospital cryied saying I want out but can't because my legs and hurt and I can't walk or even stand up. His mind is working good but is getting very depressed. It's so hard to see him like this. He was so active before the accident. He keep saying I'm so lonley I'm so lonley. All of us kids have missed so much work we are all in trouble with our jobs from missing so much and trying to do everything all on our own. It's hard to ask for help we have no Idea what to tell anyone to do, we are all so exhusted, we can't even think of what to do for ourselfs once we finnally get home at night. Both of Elisabeths parents are going to spend their thankgiving in the hospital, it is going to be a very hard time for us, but thank God they are both still alive and God is healing them. The pain continues.

Last night we got a call from the hospital Elisabeth’s dad is in telling us he had fallen out of bed. In fact they tried to blame Elisabeth saying she did not put his restraints back on. And that he had fallen out of bed earlier that day and they had to keep him resanted. Well we began by asking them what do you mean he fell out of bed earlier and why did no one call them then, and also he was not in his restraints when Elisabeth’s brother arrived, and no one spoke to them about putting any restraints on him. This was very upsetting, last night while digging deeper into all of this her brother found that the doctor was telling us that her had was getting one type of medication and yet the chart said that they was giving him something different. Looks like the family is going to have to find some other hospital to put her dad. This is very unfortunate since this hospital is close to the rest of the family and the other one they are considering is down town Dallas area.
Also I saw an allergy speaclist and the rash I have all over my body is a result of the medication he was giving me. Crazy I’m allergic to blood pressure medicine and allergic to the medicine the allergy doctor prescribed me, now taking some to clear that up. When will it end? I thought I was going to start on my back bathroom project today, but after seeing my lawyer and doing my bills; I can’t even afford to start that project and do it myself. Craziness.

Now someone right me back and tell me none of this is true!

Elisabeth’s , mom is still in the hospital with no word on if she will be in during Thanksgiving we are all have an good cry over that. She is hurting from the IV’s blowing up because of the high doses of antibiotic’s she is getting.
Also probably not true right!!

I am praying for love and peace. It’s seems that Elisabeth and I must be patient and wait. Elisabeth’s mom was admitted in Baylor Garland on Friday. She has a wound that will not heal. Her dad is upset because of the med’s they continue to give him, seems to be driving him crazy from one day to the next. Everything is crashing down on us all at once.
I know my foundation is strong and it is on Jesus Christ. I am counting on His love to see us through all of this. We got back from Windsboro tonight after checking on her folks house and I am broke out with some rash all over my body. Oh well?

Warnings from the heart! What does God say, and why woudl someone's policy not line up with God's Word.

He warned the assembly, "Move back from the tents of these wicked men! Do not touch anything belonging to them, or you will be swept away because of all their sins."
Warnings!!! The bible is the guide to my path on this book I meditate on it and the Words in it day and night. This book is full of warnings and things to watch out for and I have to say that I feel like God is pushing me to warn people of place’s that they can get to that really keep them from God and the Joy of His peace and love and grace and mercy.
Please consider this carefully, because man’s pride will keep them from being honest . The bible say’s pride comes before a fall. I know we all fall short of the glory of God. Nehemiah when told of the city walls being destroyed and people being defeated, he did not become full of pride and say will, I or me, what did he do? He repeated for them, mourned for them, got on his knees and prayed for them. He had compassion for them. This is true Christian or true believers reactions. When our brothers are hurting we should never think of ourselves, we should never compare ourselves to them. Each of us has a different ministry in Christ and should never place our judgments on them based on our own accomplishments or defeats. We should run to them with love and grace an mercy praying for them, laying hands on them and walking with them through there valley’s and their hurts. If we aren’t then this should tell you something about what you really believe in.
Ecclesiastes 4:13
Better a poor but wise youth than an old but foolish king who no longer knows how to take warning.

But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself.
I’m not calling anyone wicked but mislead. If you are attending a Church that has no visit the sick ministry, then you may be in the wrong place. Caring for one another is taught over and over in the Word of God the bible. How can you care for someone if you do not see them when they are sick and lay hands on them and pray for them, and see them in the pain and sufferings? You simply cannot do that trough email. If you are attending a church or apart of a group that does not go after the hurting, the sick and love them then you maybe in the wrong place. This is just a warning from my heart; I’m not telling you what to do or judging you. I simply saying there is much more to being a Christian then going to church for an hour each Sunday, or making all the Church evens.
I have recently been on the other end of the hurting part, and watched someone getting hurt each day because her Church did not come running to her rescue. Her whole family rejected her because she choose this Church, that was not apart of her families belief. They completely wrote her out, for many years we were not only not welcome too many of the family get together but was not even spoken to by them. Yet when she was hurt, that same Church that she choose, wrote he off, no one came to visit her, or see her. Her pastor even met her at the hospital almost a month after her dad had been in the hospital, didn’t pray with here or go into see her dad with her. Wow this was such a shock. I have no idea how a man of God could not want to pray with someone that is hurting as bad as she is.
I have been told that my web site does not edify Christ. When the Priest and the religious people came after Jesus, He not only told them who they where but He also gave them a new name, “You brood of vipers”.
This is a simple warning, if you walk into a Church and the leaders and the folks on the stage and the folks greeting you are not excited to be there and showing that, then you maybe in the wrong place. Those folks maybe there only because they where told they have to be because of something other than why you should be there. I dare you to ready Ezekiel chapter 3 and if this does not pierce your heart then something’s wrong. Again I am not condemning any one church or man. But if you feel convicted, please pray about this as I have. It is not for me, to call or go check on someone that hasn’t been to church for a while that is for someone else to do it, or we don’t do that here. What? Please search your heart constantly, please read the Bibledaily and meditate on it. If you or someone you know, or your church is not lining up with what God says then do something about it.
I did, I tried for several years only when I needed them to do what I was doing for God, to come back to me, came back void from that church. To love someone is only to pray for them or send them and email every now and then? What?
I have come to terms with the fact that my church home can not support me and my family when we need them the most. That it is a personal matter. I was told when I needed love and compassion. What? Not a church matter or that we just don’t do that here. These are the things that have pushed us away. Not someone calling me up and saying I’m sorry you can no longer attend my church type of thing. If you look for me on the church directory you would see my name is not on there. Or my mom’s even though my mom is 73 years old, and has not been there for a while no one has called her and offered to take her to church while I was sick and in the hospital? Her name is no longer on the church membership directory either, even though I was told Teusday this is all some misunderstanding that we love you and we want you to come to church.
I have attending 1,452 services’ at this church that say’s to me, to be a member you only have to come twice. Yet my name is no longer on the church directory. I attended a church called Emmanuelle Baptist back in 1982-1983 my name is still on their directory and at least 3 other church’s I only attended for a while still have me and my family listed in there directory. Why? So some can see that name and say wow its been a long time since I scene them I’m going to pray for them and give them a call and see if I can come see them. Although that maybe misread into by some other folks.
Just a warning make sure that the Church you attend is excited about being there. Make sure they do what they teach. Make sure that they visit the sick, they visit with folks that they haven’t scene and simply don’t just right them off. If your pastor or teacher has decided in his own life to make policies that do not line up with what the Word says because of his own personal experience be very careful.
This is just a warning, I am not telling you to do anything like leave your church. If something is broken, fix it. If you see things not happening that you know should be, cause Jesus said to do. DO IT. Don’t wait for someone else too. If you know a family that is setting at home in the dark with no electric go help them, don’t wait for someone else. If you know someone is sick, the bible doesn’t just say visit them it tells us to care for them. It doesn’t say church policy is the family should do that! THE BIBLE DOSEN”T SAY THAT!!!! It say’s care for them….. So if you are reading this, and you know some things in your church that seem broken pray about, if God puts on your heart then DO IT.
Simple isn’t it. I know this sounds condemning, but it’s not, I am pleading with you, don’t let these things get out of hand at your church. Speak to your pastor if he tells you, I think that in my experience that, so – in – so. And that does not line up with the word. Ask him why would you even think that could be right! Confront him and your church leaders if they don’t line up. There are many church’s out there find one that does line up.
Simple if God said it, do it, if he didn’t say it then why would your policy be otherwise?

Lover of the truth

My name is Monty Rogers 12 years ago I gave my life to Christ. He (Christ) changed me, made me a new creation in Him. He took me from a life style of Drugs, bad drugs, controlling drugs, drugs you can’t quit cold turkey and live. He (Christ) took that from my life and only asks that I trust in Him. If you ask anyone that was close to me at that time, who knows me, they would say that this was a miracle. I ask God for one thing, that is to know the truth. I was so messed up, I had no idea what was the real truth or where that I could verify that. God showed me, took me to that place so quickly you have no idea, what a miracle this was for me, and still is to this very day, all I want from Him is the truth, and He gives me so much more. I have been reading the writings of Josephus, a noted historian. Josephus was more than that, he was a Priest a son of a Priest, known as a lover of the truth.
This is just what I want to be known as too. God has clearly reminded me lately of all of this. The truth is that God saved, God called me, God uses me and that because of the awesome love of His Son Jesus Christ and Him giving up His life for me, I am free. Josephus spoke about James the Just, and that he was the brother of the one called the Christ. He said that he was afraid for the Jews because of the crucifixion of the brother of James the Just. If you have not taken the time to read Josephus, the complete works, I encourage you to do so. To read these writings and have him say this is still the same today, or you can still see the pillar or salt that was Lot’s wife today is so awesome. The truth is simply Christ Died for me, and you. So that we can be forgiven and receiving Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, we become a new creation in Christ. And apart of the inheritance of Jesus, where in His kingdom there will be many rooms for us.

Romans 14:15If your brother is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy your brother for whom Christ died.
I my daily reading I have came across scripture that has encouraged me to send out this warning. I know someone that has something very similar to this verse tattooed on his arm. Yet he has forgotten what it means. If you are doing anything that would cause your brother in Christ to say. I want no part in that Christian stuff. Or say why would they react that way when they just got through teaching something about Gods grace, love and forgiveness? That guy is fake and I want no part of that. Then I’d say your eating food that is destroying your brother.
I have been accused of gossip so I just wanted you to know what the word says about that.
Proverbs 11:13A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy man keeps a secret.
Proverbs 16:28A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends.
Proverbs 18:8The words of a gossip are like choice morsels; they go down to a man's inmost parts
Proverbs 20:19A gossip betrays a confidence; so avoid a man who talks too much.
My favorite : Proverbs 26:20Without wood a fire goes out; without gossip a quarrel dies down.
Romans 1:29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips,2 Corinthians 12:20For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you as I want you to be, and you may not find me as you want me to be. I fear that there may be quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder.
1 Timothy 5:13Besides, they get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also gossips and busybodies, saying things they ought not to.3 John 1:10So if I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, gossiping maliciously about us. Not satisfied with that, he refuses to welcome the brothers. He also stops those who want to do so and puts them out of the church.
None of this sounds very good does it. I refuse to take part in this. If you ask me what is the truth I will tell you. If you ask my what I thought someone was thinking when they said so-in-so, Id have to say I have no idea, because that would be gossip. If you ask me what did so-in-so say to you, or in my case email you, I would telling them what he said. But if they said to me what was his motive in hurting you with those accustations, I’d have to say I do not know, because that would be gossip.
I can say this one thing, I did expect to receive the following as stated in the WORD that I believe to be truth.
John 15:13Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:17This is my command: Love each other.
John 15:19If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.
John 17:26I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them."

I did not receive love, I received accusations and was told that I was doing and saying things that are not true. However even after I said that, it was still and is still beiong tossed around in a Church as if this is healthy or scriptural. This is not right, just or even Christian. This is worldly practice.
Warrning!!! If your leaders are not peacemakers, and play games in front of the Church and say things about them behind their backs, chances are you are in the wrong church if you want to continue to be a Christian.
Let us be peacemakers in all things. God moved me in this, I reached to someone that recently hurt me with slanderous emails, emailed him saying that I loved him and it was great to hear his voice. I received a 2 page letter of condemnation and accusations. What is wrong with that? Later after I would not reply to anything he sent me because I was tiered of being hurt. It seemed to drive him crazy and he responded very abusively.
Matthew Chapter 25: Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
When I was sick what did I receive, no one looked after me, no one visited me. An email is NOT A VISIT.
If God said it, do that, if He did not say email then why is it used so frequently as a ministry or a form of abuse? God did not say email or text, He said visit.
Seems pretty plain to me..

Broken Please fix it. "The Christian Church today"

The Christian Church today is broken. I recently was pushed out of a Church that I was a member of or thought to be a member and also a so-called Deacon for 11 years. I was head of the Feed the homeless Ministry, helped with announcements, headed up prayer Ministry for after each service not just one of the service because I was at all of them anyway, played bass for the worship team ( backup of coarse ). Helped with visit the sick Ministry. Helped with the prison ministry, and at one time for many years 6 to 7 years helped with the youth ministry, helped with the security team, ran sound for several years, cleaned the Church for several years. I never expected any of this to happen to me, 11 years ago I walked in this Church with a very bad drug problem, God healed of that and did so much more for me than I ever expected.
However I recently have had and still do have some health issue’s blood pressure and being overweight doesn’t help. My doctors all wanted me be admitted in the hospital the same weekend as feed the homeless Ministry. I refused to be admitted. As a matter of fact I never said anything about this to anyone including my wife. The Ministry I was doing was too important to me. Well a few weeks later the blood pressure went way out of control and I felt like I was dying. The doctor put me on blood pressure meds and that seemed to help for a week or so, but I just felt awe full. My doctor prescribed to me to work and that was it. Go home a rest not even Church for a month. I spoke with my Pastor about this through an email and he was very upset with me. Said if you miss one service, you are no longer a deacon and can no longer serve in any capacity at Grace Fellowship Church in Sunnyvale again. He never said oh that’s terrible that you are going through this. In fact he has used the fact that one of his friends and leaders of a Ministry in his church ripping me off on a contract deal to rebuild my bathrooms at my house that I paid him for, as an excuse to throw me away like filthy rages.
Church that I was attending said they are a church that doesn’t like churches. Maybe it is this theory that they have adopted that is keeping them from doing the same things that God commands us to do, love our neighbors in fact Jesus says to love your enemy. If other Church’s love folks then this church would have a reason not to. Things that make you go hummm. I just hope that there are Christian Church’s out there that truly love others. Not what they are doing, but loving them. I haven’t felt the love of Christ coming from this pastor for some time now. Someone else should be doing that, he is just supposed to teach and lead worship. Oh and lets not forget, tell you that you can’t serve God at his Church if you don’t do just want he wants you to do.
My prayer is this, “Lord please help me to overcome this, I come into your throne room with boldness of Christ and ask for Grace and Mercy and your healing hands on me. I forgive those that seem to hurt me, and ask you to forgive me. If it is your will help me to find a Christian Church that will love me for who I am as you do, not love me only if I’m doing what they want me to. I lift up all those that have been abused by this pastor, I pray that they to are healed, and I pray that you heal this man, this pastor of the hurts he has that causes him to lash out at push people away instead of loving them, heal him oh Lord.”
I don’t have the answers to fix this Church; I am so weak from my health issues. I am now waiting to hear back from my doctors as to what I should do, whether I should go to the emergancy room, or to an allergy specialist, don’t know. They said they call hours ago. I hope to hear from them soon. My soul is so tiered now, my heart is broken, I meant my wife at this Church and married her there, and I even ask her to marry me at the Church. This was the present God gave me that I am taking with me from there.
Briefly after my health left me, my wife’s parent where involved in a horrific car accident, both was care flighted from the scene. Elisabeth’s Dad is still fighting for his life in ICU. No one from my Church has come to see her dad that is going on 3 weeks in ICU. Elisabeth is very hurt, there where so many people she regarded as friends that have not been there for her in this hour of need. I have been so sick, that I can’t go every day to the emergency room like she does. She has such a hard time seeing her dad like that and should never have to see him alone. I had hoped someone would volunteer to go with her. It is so hard to tell someone else what to do when we are all so down because of all this. I only had 2 folks call asking what they can do from my church. But we don’t know what to tell them. Friends and co-works have provided food for us, since we are not home long enough to cook anything or go to the grocery store. The house is a mess; we don’t have the drive to clean.
My wife refuses to ask for help she say’s if you have to ask how can I help then you are missing the mark to begin with. I think she is correct. If you read this, please respond with a comment or two. I’d really like to know if anyone thinks I should ever attend any Church again. I’d like to know if anyone else has experienced these same problems, and what you did. I know that I am serving God, and that is what is important. You can serve God at home with family, at work, at restaurants, at hospitals. You don’t have to be in Church to serve God.

Rumors destroy everything

I have heard that rumors destroy Churches, relationships, marriages, most everything we hold dearly. I never really had as much of an understanding about any of this until recently. Most everything I say to others is usually shared with people that I thought to be, not only my friends, but my accountability partners, meaning that nothing we discuss goes to anyone else. That all recently came to a screaming halt in the past month. I want to say this one thing to you: Never engage in a conversation that you are not directly involved in. If you did not see it with your own eyes, then don't repeat it. If someone tells you something in confidence, before you repeat that to anyone, please ask them is this okay to talk about, before you talk to anyone else.

I'm not going to quote scriptures here, most all us are aware that any unwholesome talk is wrong. Meaning if we are not talking about someone to build them up, to make them better men & women then we are only trying to defeat them and cause them to stumble. Very recently I shared some things with a very close friend only to hear someone that I know he doesn't talk to, call me and say that I heard that you had done this to cause problems at Church. There was only one person I spoke to this about and it came back to me and was very VERY hurtful, that it was communicated by a person that has told me himself that nothing we say to each other goes anywhere else. I learned this my trust is in My LORD Jesus Christ and in no man, man's heart is wicked who can trust it.
I am for the first time in my life having a serious health condition that I have found out that has killed many of my family members, high blood pressure. My blood pressure was at 161/145 when I sent an email to my pastor after my boss sent me to the doctor. My doctor had told me to take a break from everything that I absolutely did not have to do, meaning go to work, then home and completely relax. I've been on medication for a month & 1/2 now and my blood pressure is still not even close to what it was before. None of the leadership of my church has been by to check on us, and this is very painful. When I said I needed a break the only thing they could think was a problem between another person at church and no one considered my health.
There is no perfect Church and no perfect Pastor, we are all men and women and we all fall short of the glory of God. If you hear something about someone please, tell them to stop talking about this person, unless they say they went by to see them and they are not doing well. If you hear someone say I heard this from someone about so & so, then please tell them let's not talk about someone who is not here to defend themselves. This scripture comes to mind about people that choose to not help someone but talk about someone that is hurting.
2 Timothy 3:2-5
2People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.
I pray every day a read the scriptures daily and ask for God's direction in all things. I plain to remain in Him. His Spirit guides me I listen to his voice and I flee from a strangers voice. It is sad to say that some of my friends recently became a strangers voice.

37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

The most important thing that we can do in this lifetime is make sure that we are those folks on the Right of Jesus or the King mentioned above. As a matter of fact this whole bible was written not only so that you will know that the truth and the truth will set you free. But also that you should know that you can have eternal life.
1 John 5:13 13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

I am not going to stand here before you today and say you need, to first clean yourself up, straight up, get a job, and do what’s right for a change. Choices

Today some of us want things to change. You have a chance to make a choice that few find. Wide is the path to hell; narrow is the path to heaven few find it. But we can make the choice and find that narrow path today. You guys don’t get a whole lot of choices out here. Mostly what someone wants to donate to someone else that brings it down here. That’s why God has told us to cook you a meal from our homes to bring to you. To give you a better choice other than what is on sale or what not. The most important choice you can make today is the same choice any rich, or famous or intelligent person could ever make. That is to surrender your life to Christ. I’m not talking down to you today about religion. I’m talking to you about relationship with God. The author and perfoctor of all things.

Jesus is speaking;

Matt 11:27 All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

John 7:17 If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.

John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name.

God doesn’t leave us out in the bible at all, Jesus speaks about the poor.

Poor

If you are standing here saying I’m poor how can I make choices? I need to straighten myself up first before I can follow God. Listen to what Jesus has to say about us poor folks;

Matt 5:3 "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matt 11:5 The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.

So if you are waiting for some else to do something for you besides God, Jesus tells us the poor will always be here. Don’t wait to surrender your life to Jesus. Today is your day! Your are just as important as any rich person, to Jesus, He wants to save us.

Mark 12:42-43 a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny. Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.

This widow gave everything she had, a rich man before her gave 1,000.00’s of dollars before that and claimed to be all that. But this poor lady gave all she had and just slipped to the back of the church and said nothing. And Jesus honored that more than anything else.

Salvation

You are just as important as anyone else in the kingdom of heaven. This world will have you think other wise. Some religious folks would think other wise. But the ones that have a relationship with Jesus that know His voice that love Him and love His people, know that you are just as important as anyone else. Listen to what Jesus says about us;

Today at least in my work you hear all the time, will John Doe, has a certification in Microsoft Desk. Will if you ask me I prefer to have a certification in Jesus Christ. I’d rather in all things direct everyone to Him, the author and perfector of all things.

If you heard this and heard the last part, whoever rejects the Son will not see life. Then I have a question for you. What kind of life is this that you are having now? This was said by John to his disciples that where complaining that Jesus and His disciples were baptizing and all the people where going to them. This also can be said to each one of us today. Because we ask that doesn’t mean we receive. But if we receive, it should be from heaven.

This is very interesting to me, so many that choose not to believe that Jesus is the Son of God, or in fact that He is God, only believes things of this earth. But once we believe in Him, we receive an understanding of things not from earth but in fact from God. This is true because of verse 34 God gives the Spirit without limit. Earlier in this same chapter (3) Jesus is speaking to Nicodemus and say’s almost this same thing to him concerning him not understanding:

10"You are Israel's teacher," said Jesus, "and do you not understand these things? 11I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. 12I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? 13No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man, 14Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.

How then can someone believe in heavenly things? Only really by accepting truth can you believe, see, understand or know who God/Jesus really is. Like my close friend said last night, am I being a bad person by saying the Jesus is the only way to heaven. No at least we have a way there. Jesus is the only way into heaven unless you are perfect and without sin. I’m not sure about you but that sure does exclude me, except through Jesus my sins are forgiven.

Anyone that knows me has heard me say that God is love and that He loves everyone of us, whether we believe in Him or not. His perfect plan is for you to find Him and reach out to Him. That perfect plan is the Gospel through Jesus Christ. I have friends that do not believe in Jesus as to believe and follow Him. Some of them believe other religions that state that Jesus was here and walked this earth and He was a good prophet. And I can tell you that Jesus was what He said he was, the Son of God, the only savoir and the only way the truth and life. He claim not to be just a good prophet, but Gods Son, and that He was going to die for all of our sin’s, become the ultimate sacrifice. I believe this is the truth. And if He was not these things then He was insane. No other religions believe that you can get that close to God, or anyone can be a Son of God. And Jesus teaching that He was the Son of God Is far beyond anything ever believed in any religion. So either He is how He says he is the Son of God the savoir, the ultimate sacrifice for you sin and mine. Or He was a mad man, the spoke nonsense. How can you say He was a good teacher and not believe in who He was, and is? This is the problem with the world today. Most folks feel they can take a vote on what is right a wrong, when this so called good prophet has spelled it out for us from the beginning of time through the Bible teachings, His teaching while He was walking this earth and through the Holy Spirit. Most of us think will if it feels good then that should be right. Don’t you think the enemy is into this and knows what you like and dislike. Sin is a big killer, and the big killing thing for sin is for you to live a life style that says this sin is okay and I believe that. When God has said it is wrong for a long time before you where born. So if I was to say to you, I believe the cowboys can when the super bowl this year, after already lost in the playoffs you’d think I was crazy. If I was to say will it just feels better not judging them and it feels better if they’d win the super bowl. That is exactly what folks are doing in Church’s today. They say sure I’m a Christian and believe in God but then they say Oh I know Jesus said adultery is wrong, but everyone is doing it so; it feels good I’m doing it. Let’s decide today to believe in the complete gospel of Jesus Christ and not just what feels good. Lets say today God come into my life I want it all, change me to follow you completely. And let’s not wait until when we think the time is right. The end is near folks, give you life to Him. The only thing you can lose is an eternal life of Love with God/Jesus.

I implore you, no matter who you are communicating with, whether work or not, if you are upset at them or about something that you read. Either email or something you just heard about that person. You can change the World

God has a message for you today, and that is you can change the world.
You may be standing here say what? How can I change the world? I have nothing that’s impossible! I worship a God that says nothing is impossible through HIM. Through Him all things are possible. Jer 29:11 I have plans for you and that is to give you a hope and a future. Listen to me carefully now and I will tell what I think God wants you to know about how you can change the world as we know it.
Once we give our lives to Christ, we become a new creation in Jesus. The bible tells us over and over, that once we are a new creation in Christ we are no longer to conform to the ways of this world. Okay see where God is taking us? Okay now knowing this God is saying if we know someone that is living a life style that separates them from God, like sexual immorality and drunkenness, wickedness. Stuff like that if we through Jesus were to witness to them, about God, through Jesus, and the Holy Spirit we can pull those folks out of the world, and into Gods kingdom. This is awesome stuff to me. And I’m telling you right now God is saying that you are in the right place to do this. You guys help others that are new to the streets all the time. I know it I hear about that. Let’s that that one step further and bring them into the kingdom of heaven.
So now that is said, I know your next question is who you know that someone is in the world, and not a Christ. This is what the bible says;

The world here is forcing themselves from God, they did not feel that it was important on obtain the knowledge of God. But God is still reaching out and saying I love you, things don’t have to be the way you have been told by the world they are. You can free yourself from the world and take others with you and change the world as we know it. You can do that, simple surrender your live to Christ today, or pray with someone you know that wants to surrender their life. Leave this world behind. This is not for us, for ours is the kingdom of heaven. I can honestly say, I’m ready Lord Jesus come quickly. I want to be with Him in heaven, not here, but while I am here, I want to serve Him and folks like you. God has not given up on you he love’s you where you are at. Reach out to Him, he will clean you up, with out Him I can do nothing.

Why are there so many different Churches?

When we first become a Christian, we all wonder and feel that we all should feel the same way and all believe the same. So why do we have different Christian churches and different ways of worship?

“This is my own opinion, I think that is because our humanity tells us that if we feel that something God told us, or something that the Bible tells us to do, that our humanity tells us we have a right to take a vote on it. And if our humanity, NOT GOD, says to us, I don’t like that scripture, or I want less scripture teachings and more worship, then we start hunting for a Church that does just that. Then later we feel that is church doctrine and everyone should worship sitting on their hands, and only be taught for 10 minutes at the max.”

Check this out: John 1: 1-14 1In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understoodit. 6There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. 7He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. 8He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. 9The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.10He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13children born not of natural descent nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. 14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only,who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Okay the point I am trying to make here is simple, many churches today say they believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Yet they feel like they have the right to vote on scriptures as true or not, yet If God didn’t feel like the Word was important then why have your Son, your only Son become that Word in the flesh? The Bible is all about Jesus from beginning to end. Yet we all think, myself included (some times), that we can say, oh even though God said it in such & such scripture, it’s just not convenient for me to slow down, I want to go fast. After a while of speeding, we become dead to that sin, meaning we feel its okay no matter what. And some of us might even look for a Church that wants to say it’s okay to speed or disobey the laws of the land. Even though the Scriptures tell us that God set up all authorities thus I should obey.

Can you believe it, there are churches that accept homosexuality as okay yet God says that is wrong, plain and simple? Sexual immorality of all kinds is wrong. Check this out:

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders. Leviticus 18:22 22 " 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. Leviticus 20:13 13 " 'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

Plain and simple to me, yet since we have a friend at work that seems nice, and someone stands up at Church and says we cannot judge a homosexual person, your going to believe that person versus what God has said over and over in scriptures. Why we want to? It’s easier, and so we get to this:

Matthew 7:13-14 13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Few find the truth when it is right in front of us, sitting in that book with dust all over it, cause we think that someone is going to teach us God’s way at Church without their own personal agenda. I don’t think so, please read it so when someone says something to you, or you feel a certain way, you will know the truth, or if they have their own agenda hear it, know that and that needs to stop. Ask yourself what does God say about this?

We all rush into what feels good, wide is that gate….

Defending the Truth

Question, are we as Christians defending the truth? Meaning are we making sure are our answers are yes in Christ? Are our choices to take hold of the truth over reasoning away the truth? I believe this is a good saying; if we are defending the Truth, Then we are defending our faith and Jesus! Our foothold and our stronghold will be found in Jesus!
If we are defending anything else, if we are reasoning away the truth,
If we are making choiceÂs that lead us away from the Truth, the we may be defending sin, now the foothold and a stronghold, the enemy has in our lives!

Should we as Christian take hold of every thought and make it captive to Jesus and the truth? I think we should the scriptures tell us to. If we are reasoning away the truth with worldly labels, like acceptance, judging others and so on. This may seem mean or harsh, but if someone was to say to you, Âlet me take that jacket to the cleaners for you. And sayLOLÂll have back to you by the end of the week.Â Three weeks go by and they havenÂt gotten it back to you and you ask them what happened to my Jacket? They say, Âwill I forgot about, and then proceed to say something like, I have an issue with procrastination, and then say I wasnÂt feeling good the day after, and then say my car wouldnÂt start the next day.Â Which is it car trouble, forgetfulness, or procrastination? The Dictionary says procrastination is to put off doing something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness. To postpone or delay needlessly.

LetÂs be careful about what we say to others, let make sure what we say we will do, or what we defend about ourselves or others line up with the word of God. When we say to ourselves that I may take care of that tomorrow a then tomorrow comes and we chose not to. Then we have only hurt ourselves. But if we tell our friends that we will do something tomorrow and decide not to, are we being an honest person to them? LetÂs chose to defend the truth with everything we do. Not just in Church, but at home, at work, at the coffee shop. Romans 6:17-18 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. 18You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
1 Corinthians 13 read the whole chapter 13:5-7 Love It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

So how can we be sure as believers that we are lining up with the truth? By knowing the scriptures, studying the bible, be mindful of what you say to others; make every moment of every day a commitment to God and the truth.
Romans 12:1-2
Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to GodÂthis is your spiritual act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will isÂhis good, pleasing and perfect will.
John 14:6-7 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."
